MNK requires the most technical skill/greatest reflexes... it's an insanely fun class.
Dragoon feels stale in comparison, and BRD is meh to me but that's just my opinion.
Tried all 3 at 50.

Honestly, I think the question would be, which one do you enjoy the most? if you have other dictate how you play the game, you're probably going to regret it later on.
I can say this is exactly how I feel right now. Monk is definitely the most fun out of the 3. It also feels like EVERYBODY is a Dragoon and Bard disappointed me due to the fact it wasnt what I thought it would turn out to be
I'm far from eccentric, I'm so psychotic...
Just like everyone said, whatever you have the most fun with.........
BUT!!!
I love Monk. I think out of all the 3 DPS classes (MNK 50, DRG 50 BRD not 50 lol idk where mine is ) , it offers the most challenge while having a blast. With all the combinations you can do, positioning, specific skills available between stances.......idk its a healthy challenge for anyone who really wants to adopt and learn a class at endgame! And I agree with what was said above. It does require fast reflexes and attention to combos. But its such a variety, I always recommend people level monk because you wont have any other class that gives you a wide variety of attacks and options like monk!
Ok biased opinion overWhatever you pick, you'll have a blast with because all the classes offer a different experience.
each dps has it's bright points depending on the type of encounter and whether you need to move alot or not. the truth is figure out which you like best and make the most of it you can. you will also want to choose a secondary that has different strengths and weaknesses so you will always have one job you enjoy playing at endgame. if i had to say the best 2 of the mele to concentrate on(if you prefer mele) i'd say go with mnk and bard.
they are different classes and bring different things to a party. one is also close range ad the other is ranged so they vary on what their weaknesses are as well. this combination will assure you that you will always have a job ready to go for any content and assure you are never left out due to one being neglected.

There are certain fights that punish melee pretty unfairly and SE throws in so many mechanics in various fights that make it detrimental to take melee.
For example Twintania taking any more then one melee makes the fight a lot harder mostly due to phase 4. During the Dreadknight phase all the melee have to run far away because they can get targeted by the dreadknight and killed if it get to them. So they have to keep running to the edge of the arena right before a Dreadknight comes out, taking dps time away from Twintania when ranged can already be standing far away at all times and swap from Twintania to Dreadknight very quickly with no loss in dps uptime. The more melee you have the longer you spend in that phase due to the constant running away because you might get targeted making it so you could hit the enrage because you lose so much dps time on the boss.
Until SE stops putting in fights where it is a disadvantage to bring melee I would go with ranged.
As a tank I see playing DPS a lot harder you have to max your dps by doing much more complex rotations and a lot of mechanics tanks can just get hit by IE bombs on Titan, dps have to be on top of avoiding stuff or they are dead tanks can just get hit by whatever. Titan HM says hi, I pretty much have to do nothing on that fight besides hit a cooldown during mountain buster, I have a 3 button rotation most of the time and only have to worry about cooldowns when I am taking a lot of damage, the job is so easy to play much easier then any dps. If I am feeling lazy I much rather play tank then dps, because dps is a lot more work to play.
Hardest to easiest its like Healer > DPS > Tank
