    DPS at End Game

I just wanted to see everyone's views and opinions regarding DPS classes at end game. What DPS class would you say is best to choose if I want to do consistent damage and at the same time enjoy? I currently have a Monk, Dragoon and Bard all close to level 50 but I am not sure which one to focus on fully at end game.

I also do not see alot of Monks at end game, is there a reason for this?

The general consensus is monk is best melee for single target damage, while dragoon has better aoe and doesn't rely as heavily on position damage. Bard is a must for any endgame group, as it supports your mage's and your melee's. Really anything's fine, just play what you enjoy.

go with that you enjoy playing.
    there's no best dps job.
a job isn't better than the person playing it, so dont expect to be pro-dps, just cause you go with what other ppls opinion of what is best.

I enjoy them all the same to be honest and I'm very adept at all three of them which is why I asked the thread. Where did pro dps come into this lol?

Your criteria of "consistent damage" and "fun" can be achieved by any class played properly.

As others have said, play what you enjoy.

Get full darklight and relic for all these jobs, then look for a static raid group offering that u can play any of these jobs based on what group needs.

Either Monk or Dragoon are probably the most consistent of those three. Bards are proctastic in comparison, which may or may not suit well with your idea of consistence. Though admittedly, Monks and Dragoons have no procs whatsoever, when you think about it. Though I suppose there's also the issue of Bards being able to move and DPS all day long, as well... Ah, life is so complicated, isn't it?

I find that an iffy statement. While it's true that Monks need to regularly switch between rear and flank for optimal damage, Dragoons can't use their Impulse Drive combo at all if they can't get behind their enemy for some reason. Monks just end up suffering from weaker attacks, rather than being completely locked out from a major debuff and DoT. :/ That said... I'd imagine a Monk who positions himself badly is going to mess up his DPS pretty hard. Those bonuses aren't particularly small, to be truthful.
