Scripted fights mean everyone gets to fight a boss in the same circonstances.
I'm sure the OP will be the first to come here and complain when his group wipes for 3h on a boss while the next group one shots it because the boss went easy on them.
You can't compare tera to ffxiv, they're both totally different games.
If you'd make the bosses attack randomly in here, imagine what kind of hell titan would become. 5x mountain buster to your face i'd say.
Even when you put a cooldown on the skill, i can already see all the plumes during bombs.
Besides in tera you can actually iframe/dodge stuff with skills to avoid these kind of things, FFXIV doesn't really work like that.
Any way of making fights hard without having to memorize rotations and phases? Seems so rigid the way FFXIV does it.
Assign a cd for sets of skills. Have those CDs blown at the start of the fight. This would prevent skills from all being used right away.
It would also allow for randomized battles as he can only use say mb or line bombs. Have things such as ls and weight on the same cd.
Can still assign a percentage to each skill in each cd list to allow for things like a slim 5% chance of something like gaol or mb on his ls/weight cd, potentially allowing double skill usage.
game is way to easy i wish for some random fights maybe a boss that lights up 2-3 seconds before attack to indicate which attack he will do so people wont cry cause of random attacks. i'd rather wipe for 8 hours on a hard fight with random sequance then beat a fight in 15min then beable to spam it constantly cause i know the rotation but thats me
Many people here say about the already existing bosses and of course it is not good to get some MB from Titan. But I didnt suggest to change already existing bosses and fights- I asked to think about future, about new bosses and fights
casual/ps3 limitations
I remember my first time doing Garuda in the history... I thought she was the coolest boss ever as I looked around to find her and then hide.
Then I learned that she always teleports to the same place. I was... disappointed, to say the least.
