this boggles my mind, what screen resolution do you have set?
my screen resolution is 1366x768 it doesnt have any that are longer than 768 its stupid i miss have 1280x1024 which was on my old comp. and i am just reinstalling now i will try what u said after its finished Loth
Is this a laptop or a desktop? What video card are you using? Are the drivers updated?
I have had this happen to me a number of times, It's good to make it known so the Devs can work on it. A quick fix I've found is to just change jobs and then changing back, which should put you back at the proper level of graphics. If it doesn't work then you must just have a different problem than me all together and like others have said, may require contacting a GM. Until they get it fixed I don't think reinstalling or anything else will help though.
yea reinstalling didnt help and if anything it is slower. yes it is a laptop and here are the specs

Looks like your using on-board video? That is more than likely the problem.
what does that mean? and is there a way i can fix it?
Some laptops allow you to upgrade the video adapter to a better gfx card, usually the one that comes with a laptop is not good enough to run FF14 or a lot of other high end games.
Minimum System Requirements
On June 30th 2010, the minimum system requirements were released for the retail version of the game. You will need a PC capable of the following:
Operating System: Windows XP/Vista/7.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2GHz.
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 512MB or ATI Radeon HD 2900 512MB and DirectX 9.
Memory: 2GB of RAM.
Disk Space: 15GB.
Your video is only 128 MB which seems to be the main problem. You do have a gig of shared video memory but it would be much better if you get a gfx card for the laptop. Although I do not know how to install one as I only have a desktop.
