The New (and insanely funny) troll move... (not really new or trolling but lol)

Ok ok, so its not really trolling or griefing, but people feel trolled and griefed by it and its really funny...

So last night was the 2nd time this week that I've seen someone complaining in /shout about joining a duty finder group of 3 super hardcore role players that wouldn't break character the entire dungeon. The complainer wanted to rush/speed run, and these 3 kept saying things like:

"My magic is weakened, Paladin, I must rest for we jump into a hasty conflict"

or

"Take heed, young Paladin, for behind this wall are demons!"


I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm not a big role player, but I personally wouldn't mind the change of pace if I joined a random DF dungeon full of RP. Some people feel so butthurt by it though, and its just hysterical.

I'd love it, I love joining in on weird things all the time. This would be like candy land to me.

I would SOOOO get into the RP with them if that happened to me. I think that's great.

I guess it depends on how it's done. My FC were telling me about some guy that started RP at the last boss in some dungeon and he went on about how some dark forces was preventing him from healing and he let everyone die lol.

I personally wouldn't mind any of it lol.
