Constant lag since 2.1

Hey guys,

since first day i played FF XIV, ive been experiencing constant lag that delayies my spells for about 1 second, which i got said its due to Canada servers for EU players....which is...ok...

But since 2.1 i started having constant lagspikes during whole day, every ....15 seconds? 20? everything stop moving for like 2-3 seconds, and then speed up back to normal. Checked my net and im having no lags on other games. this happens only in FF XIV since patch 2.1,this impey me to properly dodge aoe (expecially Titan.) is there any other information i can give to help me getting rid of this?

I have noticed this also, not as frequent but the everything stops for 2-5 seconds then starts going again. I play on PS3 and don't have any connection troubles otherwise.

I have been experiencing these issues as well. Some instances are ok, but others like normal/extreme primals and all turns in BC, I have had some bad lag spikes. I'm on PS3 with a wired connection. I'm almost at the point of not playing for awhile till these issues get resolved.

Same thing, PC. Was fine prior to 2.1, after even mining has been a pain.

A VPN solves the frequent 2-5 second lag spikes and occasional 90000 errors, but it replaces them with a fairly constant 500-800ms delay which makes some of the higher level content exceedingly difficult.

Same, I thought I resolved the problem using a VPN but no dice. It makes end game unplayable when you get delayed reactions.

Exactly, other than RL stuff currently going on aside from the game. My group may end up repping me, I mean, who wants someone lagging in the group, right? :'(
