Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......Today I was on an alt, I am in a small FC who needs a helping hand with getting organized and while I was online, I had a representative from an FC I do not care to name, approach me SEVERAL times, asking me to leave my FC and join theirs. I can understand offering a place in your FC to a player you enjoy playing with and are friends with at least in game, but I have never met this particular player before and I found the recruitment pitch rather shady and underhanded.
How do you people feel about "poaching" from other FC's, deliberately approaching people in an FC and trying to convince them to leave and join you?
I personally dislike the idea, unless a merger is in place or the player has contacted me on his/her own, I don't contact players already "taken". *shrug*
Your signature makes me wonder -_-

So don't respond to them? :| or give them a piece of your mind
lol
I agree a small nudge on someone you really like and enjoy their company isn't necessarily bad but badgering and pressuring and random whispers or force recruiting is definitely frowned upon everywhere
Just don't ever offer anyone to join your guild. That's what I do. Problem fixed.
Rofl, sounds like an incredibly simple fix except that I am the one people tried recruiting. I SHOULD have turned around and been just as forceful and sarcastically attempted to recruit THEM. Sadly I never think of these things when it happens.. oh well.. I am sure there will be next times.
If you think we just had a nice conversation, I was probably being sarcastic
