    The game has them named as plumes even in english (Spiny Plume, Satin Plume, etc) so people just go with that. Ifrit's ability is named Radiant Plume. Titan's ability is Weight of the Land but since it looks a lot like Ifrit's ability I guess people just refer to it as plumes also.
