    Please stop nerfing stuff in pve to balance pvp.

    As the topic says, the nerfing of abilities in pve due to pvp needs to stop, stop being lazy square and code the damn game so that skills have diffrent values in pve and pvp mode. The curing magic reduction from Miasma I/II and storms path was fine in pve, it just needed a nerf to when your in pvp mode. I really hate devs who get lazy like this and screw the pve side for pvp when its meant to be a pve game orignally. Rift does this, Wow Does this, and Gw2 does this and with ff14 bascally being copy and pasted version of wow with a FF skin there should be no reason this cannot be done. Also don't try to say this game is not a wow clone, it feels, plays, and has the same flow as wow does.

    As someone who has played World of Warcraft since launch, I would really like to back you up on this. Arena practically destroyed any semblance of Class-identity in that game, and it would be a shame to see FFXIV go down the same road.

    Well, as far as things to complain about goes, this is a minor one. I don't think I've ever made use of Disease's curing reduction outside of some arcanist quests (Seriously, how many enemies cast cure?).

    They've made PvP-only adjustments to some abilities in the same patch. That's a pretty clear indication they're paying attention and intend to keep things balanced separately. This one particular adjustment, with almost no application in PvE to begin with, isn't the sky falling.

    but next patch it could be something else with a bigger impact and then ppl will be furious about something that happened before even though they didn't care the first time.

    If they do that, I'll bitch and moan, but not a moment sooner. Considering all the PVP changes that I would complain about were PVP only (removing the movement speed reduction of disease and disallowing SMN and ACN from using resurrection), I'm not going to yell that the sky is falling.

    Since when is a healing debuff important in any semblance of PvE? If a boss or whatever has healing capabilities, chances are there are mechanics to shut that down. Y'know, like murdering a WHM moogle.
