Game Close Unexpectedly

Hi, when entering "The Praetorium", i mean after loading the instance for 5 seconds the game crash, and i can't get back to the game, it keeps crashing when i try to log in back, until they kick me out of the instance (i can't see the instance at all) only after that i can get back in game. it's the first time that this game has crashed to me. I have tried re-entering the instance and is still crashing. May i need to reinstall? any ideas that might be causing it?

Sounds like something in Prae that you're seeing is causing the client to instantly crash (repeatedly).. I used to have this issue with my Geforce 690 in the early days XIV (beta 4, not even in Prae, but with one of the encampments in the Southern Shroud). This was when running very early drivers from the R313 branch. Could not login after the initial crash until drivers were updated.



If you've not updated video drivers lately, that's where I'd start. Corruption could surely do it too, yet I'd start with updating drivers.
