Remember the arguments during beta?

The organization of complaints and issues with gameplay is rather terrible on the forums, so it's just generally a mess, and we've seen no evidence as yet that SE is paying any attention to what a very small minority of the playerbase who actually post is saying could use improvement or suggestions for new/revised content, whereas the huge majority are playing the game and don't even bother with the forums whatsoever.

Fixed by putting into perspective.

Very smart move by SE doing this. For obvious reasons with ESO beta weekend.

oh btw:
We wanted a kick, we got a kick.
we wanted a sort button, we got a sort button.
we wanted a hairdresser etc.

So no, they don't listen:P And if you mean they didnt add 1000s new quests, hundreds more overworld encounters. 10s of new dungeons. Then you need a reality check.

Rein your ego in a second and ask when I ever said anything about adding tons of content. Did I do so? Did I complain at all about dungeons or quests? No. Every complaint I've made about the current state of the game has been in regards to crafting classes and the economy, and my post did not indicate anything different. You stated they dont listen to the playerbase and what they ask for, I showed you examples of where they have. If you meant, they didn't listen to what you said and implemented it, you should have made that more clear. Also it takes time, they could have easily seen the suggestions about the economy and craftning/harvesting classes and taking what works on board for later updates. Just because they havn't added something now doesn't mean that they aren't working on it or talking about it.

If you said they should be more transparent with their overall roadmap of ARR for maybe the coming year, giving out more info of how they will improve the economy, value of crafting etc and other content. Then I would agree 110%.

Fair enough that there are examples of suggestions taken. My original point was more suited to generalizations (ie. that telling the devs what you do/don't like and how you think the game can be improved is better than saying nothing and just hoping they do good things). As far as specifics go, I felt that this wasn't the thread to delve into those, and it wasn't my intention to start soapboxing specific issues.
