Could you define diehard FF fan?

I've played all the single player ones to max completion (except XIII, cause it's garbage) and I happened to like WoW MORE than FFXI.

Why is it so called "diehard" FF fans want a remake of the old stuff? Whether it's VII or XI they want the same old trash.

This is my new MMO and I don't want it more grindy. More grind isn't tougher difficulty. Tougher difficulty is tougher difficulty. This game is fun and different. Why is that so bad?

Only reason I am here is because I like FF and this is on PS3. This game has giant lag/latency/bug issues that would have drove me away long ago had it been anything else.

I think it's more the other way around, die hard FF11/FF fans left/are leaving since this game is basically WoW theme-park garbage and the ppl left are the WoW fans (I mean, look at the forum, people using WoW terminology and shiet all over the place).

read the post on lodestone im not saying anything they didnt say themselfs. they took wow and used it as a base for this game, now they use

last i checked with a sub game everyone is valued if tomany leave the game goes bye bye. when people leave so do friends

I am a casual, and I am not leaving. Well just raging at Titan X, but that is different.

Making FFXIV more social would help alot. Currently is based too much on 8 man content. Thus you get small social groups that 1 member leaving, etc affects whole social dynamics. They need to find a way to allow more people to work together for content but at the same time allow small groups to do.

Also vanity items are really needed. As a whole BiS loot should be obtainable by more the 50% of the population. Make it hard, not extremely hard. After which BiS looks that separate the norms from the leet should get harder and harder to obtain. That way everyone wins. Because sadly in this day and age, if majority of your population is stuck with second rate gear for too long and last tier gear is out of their grasp for too long, they start to leave.

Gotta agree with this. Too many people wanting XI-HD. The WoW terminology gets to me a little bit but the absolute scum (who until now I reserved for the WoW-heads that played other games for a bit JUST so they could bash it)are the lowest forms of life that are the XI-2-HD-heads. You love XI and it's system so much? Go play that.

Dunkin Donuts still does free iced coffee day. I live in New England and if you wanna tell me they only do it because not that many people buy iced coffee then you're utterly insane. It's better to retain than to attract, 2 free days for people who ALREADY PURCHASED is worth it even if only ONE person resubscribes. How do I business?
