Thread: 3.0 Campaign battle can i have 8)

I would be great to have something like campaign battle from FF11 added to 14 next expansion. Have swarms of mobs and a boss or 2 attack certain towns. If you fail in successfully defending the town you lose access to the aether crystal until you clear the mobs out and retake the town. Also add a merit system so we can use the xp you get from it for something. There could also be a token system for it that you can get accessories , vanity , mounts, minions.

Campaign and besieged were my favorites

nothing like fighting hordes of mobs and their leaders, along with
npc companions and generals that all look and attack in their own
unique ways.

The fates we have now, dont hold a candle to besieged/campaign. Hopefully that
is something they fix in the future. Campaign and besieged were a lot more fleshed
out than a simple 7 minute zerg fest

The ideas come from XI, but yes the FATE system is like rift and GW2
