Well I suggest you get right on that high school education then because not only didn't I offer any statistics, speculations or estimations, the OP did, however most replied disdainfully and rudely. While your elaboration was meant to belittle and insult it fell short of the mark and showed only your inability to communicate on a social level. The OP deserves to be able to create a thread and have people respond appropriately, not have people take an obviously aggressive stance that they wouldn't dare to do face to face.

I won't be like everyone else and ignore the fact that OP clearly stated those percentages he used were of his opinion. Idk, maybe people see the % sign and just auto-assume those numbers derived from truth? No one can have an opinion on the forums?

Well, my opinion is that the PvP percentage you observe, is not what I observe. I don't know if it's because of smaller match sizing or what, but I DF into a lvl 50 PvP alone and have a match in 3-5 minutes as a DPS. I sure wish I could say the same when I use DR for a high-level dungeon. But...

    this is just MY experience....

Felt like that needed to be emphasized...

Just to throw this out there...

Expansive verbiage in place of an acceptable use of the common vernacular does not in truth provide evidence to the writers intelligence or exactitude in language, but is typically the refuge of the dullard how has apprised themselves of the ownership of a thesaurus.

I assume that thesaurus rape had something to do with the way I worded that post...i didn't think it was any sort of advanced in sentence structure.

But any English professor would have definitely ripped that sentence to shreds. It took me so long to comprehend its direction that I still haven't finished reading it yet. It almost doesn't make sense.

But since it's become somewhat of a funny joke in this thread now...masterful use of a large vocabulary actually reduces the amount of words it takes to covey a point. Not increase.

    Edit:

And this thread still is stupid because of asspull statistics.

    Smashington,

I think there are too many variables to consider here. For example, with PvP and housing they may indeed have put forth considerable resources toward something that not many people are yet using. However, all that work has established a foundation and I think many more people will participate in them as time goes on.

With housing, they've designed mechanics that will be used in individual housing (and more people will use FC housing as they save up money/prices are reduced.) The same has happened in PvP, they now have the mechanics in place for Frontlines and whatever other PvP activities they choose to add later, which will certainly draw in more players. So at this time it might not seem like the effort is worth it, I think the future will change that.

I love your attempts at verbosity, they are very funny. I do not use, or need a thesaurus to write on these forums, people write and spell with little thought to being correct but with the intention to inflict wounds, bully and intimidate people. Which is what I wanted to make people aware of, and look how I succeeded.

Edellis, I could have said, "say," instead of opine, to be honest I like the word opine it sounds so much more weighty than say, say, the rest of the sentence is pretty solid however and refers to newer theory of cognitive psychology, I assume the people I am communicating with have a brain, is this wrong?

Cotti, You are so sweet, like a big cute puppy, pats on head.

Pandastirfry, Yes you most certainly did throw it out there didn't you, a most impressive adoption of misused Verboseness, to be more effective the words have not only to flow but also to make sense.

    Your turn

The reason devs allocate resources to things players aren't doing is, to get players to do those things. Not enough people PVP, so allocate a lot of resources to make it better. Now more people will want to do it. People seem content with PVE already so they can take a breather to make-better the things that need work. Like housing. Housing needs work.... PVP needs work. Crafting needs some love, but it's overall complete. PVP is very incomplete, and very unbalanced, and mostly poor. It's not that it's bad, it's that it's not good when compared to other games. Like SWTOR, or WoW. 4v4 in 1 arena gets old pretty fast.
