I agree! There was one time I missed my static run cause I overslept, and we all had quite packed schedules that week, and I spent my weekend pugging t4 for 14 hours straight before I finally won. It would've taken us 15 minutes with my group

And yeah, I guess you guys are right, once new content comes out old ones become obsolete..

What i do are the beast man dailies, and leveling my pug.

I also do ct as well. If I don't get lancer gear for that week I just get one for my other classes

I've neglected to do the beastmen dailies since the first set I did when I unlocked them, on account of SWTOR's dailies burning me out. Sometimes I end up sitting around crafting for whatever reason (be it for a fellow FC member or for money), running dungeons/raids for kicks (I love CT's music so much), slamming my head against EM Titan (survived through a whole post-heart rotation yesterday, yay!), or simply just chatting.

Like someone who posted before me, I'm here to have fun, not be the best (although for me that's part of the fun). Despite having 11 50's (BLM, WHM, all crafts, MIN) right now, I'd say I'm not even halfway through what I perceive to be content. I've been screwing around so much that I've only just gotten to the point where I'm ready to take on Twintania, but so what? I'm enjoying myself, and unless something crazy happens, it'll stay that way.

Also, I'll leave this quote here...

Life is a journey, not a destination.

How can anyone think a game you can finish all endgame in a matter of a few hours, be on a path towards overwhelming?

That's what I don't get... if you are hardcore, you finish it quickly and are done for the week.

I'm not hard core, so now that I have seen the content simply playing it over and over again to farm to try to be "the best" holds no interest to me.

I really can't see why so many people are willing to repeat a mindless repetitive task if it is disguised as a "daily" quest, but then complain that an experience grind is "bad".

Few hours usually refers to something in the realm of 6 - 8 hours...

It takes me 4 - 5 hours a day to do what I want to do, and that's leaving out some stuff as well...unfortunately, not everyone has 10 - 12 hours of free time a day.

You have to kind of look at it along the lines of what it entails for someone to join a game late into it's life. There will be tons of stuff for them to do, possibly overwhelmingly so. Someone taking their time on the game (in a manner that's slower than the designers supply content for), their load of content will fall in-line with someone who joins late. It's essentially the same thing. Being overwhelmed by content in a video game is a perspective thing. Are you looking at the game like a "race"? A challenge against time. You're going to be overwhelmed. Are you looking at the game as something to just have fun with? You're going to love the oodles of things you can do and work towards.
