Please give us the option of turning off Need rolls when forming a party.

Many people want to farm Garuda EX for rings and the mount.

However I won't que on my tank 99% of the time because I don't need the ring on my tank, I need it on my blm, and my blm being 71 without relic +1 people won't take it.

Many people will agree to greeding on loot so a tank will come, but then it drops and they need it and bail.

I think for farming runs like this it would be nice if need rolls could be disabled so everyone can greed the primals accessories etc.

No thanks how about you form a party for Garuda X then you won't have to worry about it. You could also just be patient and wait 2 weeks for the myth and +1 your relic.

I guess I'm all for giving people options, however I would never join a group that used this loot system. Imagine the frustration if you were a Black Mage and you lost a caster ring to the tank because you couldn't roll need or if you were the tank and lost your ring to the Black Mage, this isn't something I would ever put myself through.

Imagine if you were a black mage and couldn't find a group to farm Garuda extreme because the tank accessories sucked...

That's the thing, I said FARM. Meaning people are joining to FARM it. Not hop in, get lucky and need your ring in 1 shot and leave. FARM as in over and over again. In which cast a greed only loot system would be fine. If you wouldn't join such a group because you can't need, then good, that's exactly what it would be for "To get 8 people that will greed stuff and keep killing it".

And yeah right now you can't even get groups to farm it because tanks have no incentive to do so except for the mount. I'm not going to kill something 20 times and watch us replace the blm 10 times and lose the ring every time and never see the mount drop.

And I'm not spending myth on my BLM because it's better spent on my tanks, I have almost full myth sets on both war and pld and Main Tank BCB and working on T5. BLM is just what I do off raid times for fun.

Not a good idea, best is find/compose a farming team and if everyone is kind enough, they will also be willing to help you get the item you needed after getting theirs because the main purpose of the team is called Farming for xxxx item.

If that one person quits just after getting his item, then just ignore/blacklist him in future farming raids.
