Help playing beta from a ps3 to ps4

Late last night i tried to pay the ps4 beta but upon logging in, i kept getting this message.

-If you are attempting to use a square-enix account that you use to play the ps3 version of the game

Please quit the game, sign in again with the Sony Entertainment Network account that you use to play the ps3 version, and then re-download the client. After the process is completed, please launch FFXIV beta and proceed accordingly.

I play on the ps3. I Updated everything for the beta launcher and i am up to date on my ps3 version of ffxiv as well. I tried restarting the beta launcher with no luck. i then tried to sign into the ps3 version, then sign out and start the ps4 beta, no luck. I completely deleted and re-installed the ps4 beta version again last night. I tried logging in on the ps3 version, then attempting to log on the ps4 beta with no luck. I am using the same square-enix id and password I use to play my ps3 version and to log onto my square-enix account online. The other strange thing is i will try to log in numerous times at the ps4 log on screen and it will let me, then I will try again and it says my user ID or password is incorrect. This will continue for 5-10 minutes, then boom! it will take me to that screen again. can someone explain how to play this beta on ps4 if you play on ps3?

are u using the ps4 text entry and selecting the username from the top bar (aka auto prediction) if so the ps4 adds a space after that word wich needs to be removed , other than that i dont know

Umm possibly actually BUY a Ps4 to play on.. I don't understand why you think a PS4 beta would work on PS3.. explain to me how this makes any sense..

you need the same PlayStation account on your ps4 as you have on your ps3
it will only work with a new PlayStation account if you only played ff xiv on the pc and never on a ps3
so you need to log into PlayStation network with the ps3 username and ww and then into the beta with your ps3 ff xiv username and ww
