Targeting by going up and down Enmity list

Title says it all. I'm playing on the PS3 by the way. I figured it's easier to go up through the enmity list when trying to target a specific target within a crowd of targets. Now I only know of one to do this on the PS3.

And its to use keybinds by using my keyboard. I don't want to have to lose control of one side of my controller to click on one key on the keyboard just to scroll through the enmity list. I either lose control of my attack skills or lose control of my movement.

So is there any other way to do this on the controller, so that I am still in full control of my character while scrolling through targets on the enmity list?

I ran Qarn earlier. I had a DRG, SCH, and SMN party. They were all standing six inches in front of me, so it took me at least five minutes to set up target markers. I was about ready to stop what I was doing, /sit on the ground, and explain what Personal Space is and why we respect it, followed by a brief lecture on why we don't stand directly in front of the tank when he's trying to do tank things.
