I need advice for dealing with summoners as a healer

I'm legitimately looking for how I can better deal with a summoner as a healer (I'm playing whm) I don't mean for this to be a whine thread, I want advice.

Anytime I solo queue and there is an enemy summoner I usually get rolled over, the debuffs go up so fast that it is essentially impossible to esuna them off and you'll do reduced healing the whole time miasma is up and if you use purify to deal with it I end up getting stun locked or slept by other classes.

I can either:
Sleep the summoner
Sleep the healer and have dps focus summoner
Pop attunement and hope they don't notice

If the enemy team instead focuses someone other than me and get the full debuffs on them the amount I heal them for is not enough to keep anyone alive. (I'm in full i70pvp except hat/belt/jewelry). If I try to esuna them they die before I can get any healing period off.

I'm rank 16 now so I've been pvping for a bit, but what have other healers been doing to in similar situations?

Ask ur team mates try kill summoner if somebody have silence/stun save it until summoner use surecast when they pop equanimity go behind wall/pilar until it is over if somebody get full dots they can purify all clean and try cc other crew members + sleep garuda if u have time.

Esuna off the Disease debuff and proceed to heal. The danger phase is over when they use Enkindle, 2 debuffs will not cause fester to do major damage..

The best thing you can do if you're being focus is to kite from pillar to pillar trying to esuna the disease off. Then once you get it off try to sprint away and keep enough distance so that if he does get another disease on you you can cleanse it or run away until it DRs out completely. Attune early enough that dots wont kill you. If you're not being targeted wait for rouse to drop off his pet and sleep it and focus on keeping your team spread out while sleeping anything that wont get broken. You're in danger of being killed anytime he has Aetherflow Charges and you have disease on you.

Rouse prevents sleep from landing for the duration, however it will not break a sleep that has already landed.

I don't think it prevents the PvP sleep, but it breaks the PvP sleep if you use it?

Depending on the comp, if I'm getting focused by the SMN I'll sometimes burn my Purify on getting those three dots off me. Half the time the SMN doesn't even notice and slams me with a whopping 0 Fester. I probably wouldn't do this with a PLD breathing down my neck or a BLM running around nearby though.
