Help! How the heck do I make money in this game?

So last week I was like hey, I should be able to turn a decent profit by selling stacks of Woolen yarn. At the time they were going for like 230 ea. now ive been undercut so many times that its not worth trying anymore. Today a stack of woolen yarn goes for 149 ea. Even with all crafts maxed most gear isnt profitable enough to bother making and you cant sell philo for anything wither. I am absolutely stumped, other than random tips I make for melding, I can't make jack squat.

Crafting is dead - for the foreseeable future.

Gathering is also dead, with the exception of treasure maps.

If you have a lvl50 DoL, go get Pieste skin maps and get some Gil that way.

Otherwise, DFR, Beastmen grind...

Ironically, no one can answer your question. Because the minute you put it out there how to make gil, everyone starts doing it and the market disappears.

People were saying 'level your crafters and gatherers!' when the game launched and there was no way to make money. Now everyone has them all up and they aren't even worth having anymore.

Do crafting leves. You can make about 450k a month doing that.... I think. I don't know if monetary rewards were changed at 2.1.

I made 150k on culinarian last weekend. Seems worth it to me.
