    Sudden drop in fps

    Since two days ago I was playing FF14 fine, with about 50 fps on average. However since then I can't get my fps to go above 25, and it usually sits around 8-17. The game has become unplayable for me. I have tried all the different settings that were recommended, however no luck. Has something changed since the server downtime or something?
    I play assassins creed 4 with everything on high with no problem whatsoever.
    My laptop specs:

    Intel core i5, 2.4 Ghz, 8 gig ram, Ati Firepro M7820. Please help.

    Oh and my processor is not overheating, since I cleaned the whole thing out yesterday, replaced the cooling paste etc. And it does not go over 60 degrees. Also updated all of my windows drivers.
    I also got a rating of 4341, high on the benchmar, I'm kind of lost now!
