    [suggestion] Let cap on currency go up to match missed tomes from previous weeks

    To the developers: Please allow the cap for weekly currency to accumulate equal to the amount of tomes the player did not acquire in the previous week, provided an active subscription for FFXIV is still present on their account.

    So if a player accumulated only one-hundred myth tomes in the first week, then next week his cap would be 800 myth instead of the usual 450. Right now the current system encourages players to burn themselves out on the content by creating a situation wherein they must grind dungeons, raids, and trials to meet a weekly cap. If they do not meet the weekly cap, they suffer a net loss of potential myth points which cannot be recovered.

    By adding some leniency to the system, it would lower the pressure on players to constantly grind things and keep them playing longer. Player burnout is a long term problem with end game content dating back to the MMOs of old, and anything that can help minimize it is helpful.

    Since it had to do with currency, I thought that markets and retainers would be the right section for it. Would the correct section be dungeons if it has to do with tomes?

    Yea I get confused myself on where to post sometimes, but good question as to where you would post. I'm with you thinking it would be in Dungeons/Raids. Eitherway, I never did understand there being a cap as it is, if only to slow down players that rush?
