Tonight I'm going to try running the game with my pagefile set very low and see if the game uses more physical ram. I'll update then, or if someone else can report as to seeing the game using close to the addressable limit of physical ram themselves, that also helps! I'm no expert on the programming of games, so I really have no idea how RAM is assigned to it and whether that was solely the job of Windows or not. But it does seem to have a one-sided relationship between the pagefile and physical ram when it comes to this process, and that would definitely cause the issue I detailed.
