Treasure Maps

I have found that for me to get a map quickly I need to be on btn instead of mining and I go over to summerford and chop trees for fire crystals. If I try to mine or switch my spot it takes me forever to get maps. But my husband can only get fast maps on mining just south of the processing plant, if he moves, same thing. Its almost like you have that one sweet spot in the game that will hand them over faster. Could just be another example of the in game randomizer to.

Probably just RNG, but I was in Sagolii Desert a couple days ago and figured I'd farm a boarskin map while I was there since I already had a peiste on me. After farming for five minutes and seeing all of two nodes that didn't have a peiste I just gave up and went back to town. After putting my peiste on the market, I went out to Summerford where it took me about 10 minutes before I even saw another map, and it was peiste. So that eventually went on the market too.

I, without a doubt, have trouble getting Piestskin maps a BTN since the last maintenance. Since day 1 of 2.1 I it has only taken me <5mins to snag one but now it is around 30-45 mins of farming until I give up and grab a boarskin. It seriously has only been this way since the maintenance that these terrible farming times have started. Maybe they saw how many and how cheaply they were being put up on the market board and decided to fix that? I can confirm that at least three other BTN in my FC are dealing with these long farm times and only for this week. Fishing seems to remain untouched in terms of getting a map quickly.

1) It is breaths not breathes.

2) There are too many coincidences to chalk it up to just RNG. Does it make any sense what so ever that I am THAT lucky to get a map within 5 mins for TWO WHOLE WEEKS and now it requires you to sell your soul to get one within 30mins? If it was just me experiencing it, I would chalk it up to RNG without a doubt. However, the fact that others in my FC, LS, and this forum post means there is something up. The RNG algorithm may have been stealth fixed in maintenance. I know this is speculation but, like I said, there are just too many coincidences.

Easy trick i do, if you have trouble finding, try reteleporting into zone as it resets nods, usually find all what i want after a tries, especially those time you never seem to find anything, just reteleport and it should help you

And 30+ fails in a row with a 98% chance to succeed isn't crappy RNG either?
