Advanced Class requirements

You know I actually liked how in FFXI you did a quest to unlock a job/class. They were fun and different, they had cool cutscenes and you always found out more things as you unlocked different jobs/classes. I would not mind seeing a familiar system where you have your jobs which you start with and 'the other category jobs/classes' which you have to somehow earn the right to be. Idk about having to have 2 or 3 classes leveled. It seems much like the sub job system where you had to lvl your white mage to have the skills as a subjob for your summoner or you were gimp. . . I have to say though I can't think of a better way.
