I would love to see some open world endgame type areas with similar mechanics of sky/sea. Basically forced pop NMs which drop high level equipment, building your way to from lesser NMs to boss fights to mega boss.
Restrict the areas to be accessible only after finishing certain objectives with some degree of challenge.
Monsters in this zone are scaled similarly to mobs in lv 50 dungeons (requires a party of 4+ to defeat)
Tier 4:
Implement 8 daily quests which are a combination of kill/defend/escort/retrieve style quests. These quests are scaled for at least 4 players. Each quest has multiple phases, which culminates in a lesser NM fight. These NM drops 1 of 8 items when combined with a 2nd dropped item will be used to spawn 4 of the next tier of NM.
Tier 3:
4 forced pop NMs are scaled for an full 8 man party. These NM drop 1 of 4 items which when combined with a 2nd dropped item will be used to spawn 2 of the next tier of NM(boss) These NM also have a loot pool to drop material for high ilvl crafts or chance to drop weapons/gear.
Tier 2:
2 forced pop NM(boss) is treated as a FATE. A large circular barrier (similar to dungeon boss lock out gates) will appear after 15 seconds after the mob is popped. the Party that spawn the NM will be granted 1 of 2 pop items used to pop the tier 1 mega boss. FATE rewards players in GOLD SILVER and BRONZE which give player tokens to purchase items from a vendor.
Tier 1:
mega boss is also treated as a FATE with a lock out barrier the fight is scaled for at least 3 full 8 man parties. The party that spawns the NM is guaranteed GOLD reward upon downing of the NM other parties have a chance for GOLD SILVER BRONZE rewards based on performance rewards are a separate tier of token used to purchase high ilvl mats/weapon/gear
Just ideas, but I'd love to see some open world content where we can include more than 8 people at a time. And might promote co-operation between smaller sized FCs.
