But that takes time to level and cross class! How can I do me epic deepz if I spend all my time learning cross class skillz????

Why not provoke and toss a few shields, if it's anything but regen or whispering dawn then you will have control. I'm kinda shocked to see 2 pages of replies and the only real answer given was use bloodbath.

Provoke/lob might fix it and is probably the best choice as a reaction. That being said I'm sure the dps had skills incoming and probably didn't bother to slow down "that much". It always boggles the mind when something like this happens and suddenly its the entire party fighting for aggro and not just the SCH/Fairie who derped. lol.

You could provoke + shield lob it back to you.

Or the SCH could stop being bad.

It's obviously something the scholar or Eos cast during the pull, such as a regen. There's no other reason for Garuda to go after the scholar or Eos.

Eos is best tank NA btw

Many a wipe have been caused by Eos on Garuda. She is pure evil xD.

I will echo what others have said here. I doubt it was the scholar's heals directly, I would put money down it was Eos going rogue right when you pulled (which is the scholar's job to prevent)

Eos has a group-regen that she puts up whenever she feels like it. It was probably that ticking.

I can't pull a second shieldlob in time (GCD), because Garuda is reaching the SCH so fastly. When Garuda hits him, he will cast heal and so will his fairy, gaining more enmity. I did provoke her, but still could not get Garuda's attention. Provoke will only generate enmity +1. So it's pretty hard to gain aggro when this happens.

The only time this has ever really happened to me was my first dungeon at lvl 50, Wonderer's Palace with my Warrior. Every time I would Tomahawk, all of the mobs would charge the White Mage. I'd have to then run back toward the WM, Overpowering and Flashing to get aggro. This happened during each of the first few pulls and the WM says "Wow.. have you actually ever tanked before? Let me guess, you did nothing but fate grind"? I was so frustrated, I dropped the group and asked my FC about it. Turns out, the WM was casting regen as I pulled each time.... which of course made him the actual problem in that run.

In other words, it's not you. There's no way Garuda would be charging the SCH unless that person is doing something they shouldn't be.

Most of SCH cast surcor just a few seconds before you pull the boss, is a habit I have seen in almost any hard and extreme runs I have been, if you use shieldlob then provoke you will have almost guaranty than you will have full agro and some time to star with your rotation, flash is useless at extreme 99% of the time, except maybe for the blind effect, funny thing if you cast stone skin with full hp or pop a cure it also generates extra enmity, weird but works

Yeah, this gets me all the time. One of my WHMs always says it's up to me to remember to cancel the regen before pulling T.T
