Having played some of the other entries to this genre I have to agree with GI.

Do you think XIV ARR is the best of the year? If so why?

My personal opinion is that after 2.1 I finally have the freedom of choice on what content to do and there's so much stuff it's really up to you the player to decide what kind of activities you feel like doing. Also the main storyline keeps me interested to see what's coming next =)

FF14 is really great fun. Except for 2 details.

1. CT lockout
2. TITAN "TROLL" X

Yeah. Out of all the MMO's released last year, I would consider ARR the best.

FFXIV ARR has some weak elements but i agree with those editors, FFXIV is the best FF experience in this gen after all. FFXIII made me sad though i prefer singeplayer game. FFXIV ARR brought me to MMO world.

This game has it's ups and downs and I've probably joked and complained more than I should have regarding this game. However, I'm still subscribed and will probably continue to do so =). To the hopefully even brighter future of this game! /raises his fine glassware to the sky

They are slowly turning the FF14 into a fully dn grinding game! If i wanted such i would of go as example Vindictus and is free!


There is no economy, market on my server is fully crashed ! You can get vote kicked for no reason at all ! And how they introduced the housing is a joke, ive never been in a mmo where you cant get a basic house, in all mmos ive been you get the basic and from it you upgrade it with lot of effort and time!

And enough with the dns and armors, we got only this in all the patches and next 2.2 is no different !

Sure CT is fun and the treasure hunt but it makes fun only couple of times a week ! And the little quests we got were interesting but they were little ! But thats all, all things are same and you have to grind in dns over and over again!

I still dont have all my crafting classses to 50, i really really like crafting, and the crafting system in this game is one of the best ive seen, but when in the end of the day you end up selling items for 80gills for witch you werked hard to make my motivation goes allay ! And phillo craft items by me you sell for 3-2k !

Most of my friends and company members left the game, because it turned to be too much of a grinding game and was getting boring !

I like the game but need to be improved alot and fast there are really big problems in it but once solved it will turn in a magic game !
