    I know, I agree with you too, that's what I meant to say. I also wanted to remind everyone that the problem is the people that keep doing it, and that SE can't properly manage queues. XD (a bit bored, or ...)

    I think there should have never been an option to add or remove instances in progress from the que. This should be on by default and not be optional. When groups fail too much they usually just all drop out anyway (in my experience :P we're not talking science here >_>)

    This only generates more issues than it can possibly fix. (look around you)

    Most groups I join 'in progress' as of late haven't even gotten to the first boss before their healer leaves them...Usually NOT because anyone died (which would be shame on the healer in the first place on a trash mob pull), but because the party wasn't Speed Running/is New to the instance/ etc. Or people leave after the very first mistake/wipe on the 1st or 2nd boss rather than sticking it out...

    I have only ever once had one group I joined before Demon Wall literally not have the DPS....even with me on WHM DDing, to kill it....and that was because they were insistant (well tank was) they they just burn the wall...instead of doing it the 'real' way.

    Also, if/when I'm in a group where a tank (cause DD's almost never leave) rage-quits, we have always gotten a rep...in part because they DO look for later cues :P

    So while maybe my experiences as both a party member and a rep aren't typical...I seriously doubt that most groups that get 'stranded' were unable to clear the content anyway and should therefore be forced to disband if one person leaves.

    Not only that, but it would allow tanks and healers to be able to hold people hostage even more. 'Do it my way or I leave and you HAVE to finish without a Tank' 'Guys, if you don't pass all the gear to me, I'll leave and you'll have to recue'.

    So I could point out that by NOT having the 'join in progress' feature, you would also have more issues.

    As to making everyone cue, and get assigned either an 'in progress' or 'new' party randomly, and hiding what you get until you enter. It will not help. People will just leave when they see where they are/aren't. People do this already with the Duty Roulette.

    Pharos Sirius is a prime example of that:
    People leave as soon as they see the CS for it.
    Others leave if they see a WHM healer over a SCH
    WHM's leave a lot too.

    Or again, considering I get a lot of 'YAY! party chats as I get in or comments 'I'm new is that okay? Last healer left cause it said I was new :/' Yeah...if you think not allowing the option to select new or in progress will help anything, you're assuming the same people who are trying to circumvent the system now won't find new ways to do it.

    This has been happening since pre 2.1. Especially with AK as people "fished" for in progress after the demon wall as many got blocked there. Also with WP, for extra fast myth.

    Before 2.1 I thought the loot would only come after the last boss. But when discoverd otherwise, I knew this would reoccur.Fishing for certain bosses to farm a single item.

    Simple fix is don't backload the final boss with myth, take whatever myth the boss drops and divide it by how many bosses are in the zone.

    This is happening at all levels, dammit. Even queuing for a level 10 or 15 Guildhest gets this ridiculous behaviour.

    The quickest and simplest solution would be, as already mentioned above, a lockout if you withdraw from a queue. Making it scale up with each successive withdraw would be optimal (but more hassle to program so likely to take longer) so a simple 2-5min lockout should suffice. It can't be to long or it screws up those who happen to be afk or cutscening -just- as it pops, but it needs to be long enough to make it simply not worth the hassle for the twits to keep doing it.

    As for the whole queue CT with 3 premade groups, yeah that'd be a lovely option and I do hope thats added as a choic eventually, but it'll take a lot more programming effort than a withdraw cooldown so it won't be anytime soon.

    CT is the exact dungeon where I would like to see any kind of punishment for this behaviour, just to see what all those "I won't use DF to join a dungeon anymore" people would do to enter a CT then, and tell them "where is your god now?"

    I can't find the post at the moment, but there was an "official" response to this problem that basically said, (and I'm paraphrasing here), "We are aware of the problem, however we don't really think this is an issue right now. One day, when there is nothing else to do, we will get around to maybe making a fix for this, but don't hold your breath because we have more important things to do." I'll search around and see if I can find the link, then come back and edit this post to show where I read it.

    I can see their point. SE is probably bashing their heads in how every time they restrict something people were abusing, the 'community' finds a different way to leech off of people and just generally only care about themselves.

    we go from afk runs to getting a kick function. promptly people start kicking people for being 'bad' and for supposedly looting on the same gear... before, people left runs when they got the 'one or more people are new blabla' text, now they don't join a run to begin with if it isn't already in progress. before, people complained that everyone only did fates and nobody knew how to play their class since they didn't do dungeons. now we get sastasha 'speedruns' with tanks running off without the lvl 15 healer new to the game, so they can get their tomes quickly (supposedly)
