You are extremely lucky.Either you are all overreacting to a small in-game inconvenience or I have been extremely lucky. I usually get a few withdrawals and then I'm in. Usually its only about 5 minutes or so. No big deal at all.
This is a non-issue being made into the crime of the century. Time to move on.

I would imagine the luck you're having there is probably that you main a Tank, assuming you play that class when Duty Finding for CT as is the case with all queues the Tank queues are ridiculously shorter than everyone else's. It also helps if you go into it with a full party of 8, I've noticed the times I've done that I nearly always get in within the first few pops. However when solo DFing or DFing with a group I have had people literally dropping in and out of the queue for 10 minutes or more. The sound alone is enough to drive you insane. I'm glad SE are making it so if you do get a party in progress it will say 0/1 now. The amount of people fishing for that 3/4 or 2/4 was ridiculous. Personally I would just make it so you can't see if you're joining a party in progress or a new party at all until you click "confirm". The idea of the "Join a party in progress" box is to help out parties who have lost members. Not so you can get an easy piece of gear then leave immediately.Either you are all overreacting to a small in-game inconvenience or I have been extremely lucky. I usually get a few withdrawals and then I'm in. Usually its only about 5 minutes or so. No big deal at all.

Over 50 Crystal Towers solo-queueing as black mage, and this is my experience as well. Which is why I often posted in those threads (in a rather aggressive manner... sorry)Either you are all overreacting to a small in-game inconvenience or I have been extremely lucky. I couldn't care less about the window popping a few times before entering the instance.
I hope they don't create a bigger problem by trying to fix what isn't broken.

Oh I how I do love irony, and it doesn't come much better than this.
When queuing to join a party in progress, the party's current progression will no longer be shown by the Duty Finder.

Queued up to test the new changes, with in progress checked it just says in progress 0/1 now just like the patch notes checked, got a run on King Behemoth. You can still tell if a run is in progress or not but you just don't know what boss you are going to get.

Problem solved!
Tested the "fix" this morning. 27 withdrawals before I got in.
