    It is the song skills the bard has. Everyime a bard plays a song, its animation will show a flute

    JumperX is right, it's one of the cross-role 'song' spells that not only BRD, but MCH have. (I've no idea if MCH looks the same while casting though.)

    The one I used in that screenshot is Peloton but Tactician and Refresh both use the flute animation, just with different color of flashy lights accompanying it.

    It doesn't (I have been lvling my mch. Well i could have not noticed? But I am sure that is only for a bard since that is the only class that use instruments which logically speaking make sense...then again I could be wrong)

    You would be correct, MCH just pushes a button on their steampunk gadget to get the same effect. Only BRDs whip out the flute.
