I am seeing a whooole lot of people wearing Foestriker Tabards these days. Yes, it does look pretty darn good, but it's becoming the uniform du jour on Mateus

Tons of them on Balmung now too, though I rarely see anyone wearing the exact same configuration as anyone else (mine is back on page 57 of this thread ^^). It's kinda neat sometimes to see the variations that people come up with.

So wish I could dye it though...

They are Velveteen Bottoms I believe, on females they are the tights with a short skirt like you see in the picture.

They are actually the Patrician legs. Very similar, but different at the same time. Here's the Patrician set compared to the Velveteen.

Not on females. The two pictures I posted are the full sets of both the Patrician and Velveteen, minus the hats. I have the hats, but don't like them.

Here is my temporary vanity for pld, until I get around to using my myth on valor gear



Pld has been the worst to make a look for. I had the idea of an arcane warrior type look, similar to Flemeth's in DA2, with armored legs and hands and a feminine looking body piece, but trying to find a suitable body in ffxiv is HARD. I settled on yukatas, but I missed that event in 1.0 so thats out of the question until they make a comeback.

Then I thought about using a top over the taffeta bottom and dying them the same colour to look like once piece, only to make the unfortunate discovery that even the slightest over lap over the taffetta bottom causes the skirt part to become hidden and just look like underwear =_= But my husband had already bought it for me, so I felt compelled to use it. It goes well with the gallant gear in these colours at least, but I want to get some white armor and then maybe dye the skirt white and put it with hempen camise or something
