Legacy to Non-Legacy Transfer

There are a lot of people out there who wouldn't mind giving up their gils so that they can transfer to their friend's server.

Yep, they coud make an option for people on that situation.

Something like, "you can transfer with 0 gill and all your items become attached to your account and can't sell them in the market".

That way people will be able to transfer and won't be a problem for the economy of the new server.

i think we should have a free transfer period when the legacy -> non-legacy transfer begins. Since when we had a free transfer period, we couldn't transfer to a non-legacy server.

I have 10mil now and would have to throw away 7mil

You'd be throwing away 8.8mil, since you can only transfer with 1.2m.

Where are you guys getting this 3 million gil number from? Free transfers let you move 5 million.
