I'm new to the game but I've been playing MMO's for a long time. I'm looking for a friendly helpful and active guild. I am a student and will be playing 1-2 hours a day on average during weekdays, and a lot more on weekends (possibly even the whole day) unless i have school work to do.

I have two main characters, one is in a free company of friends from FFXI, however they aren't very lore oriented. Hence they have no patience for even first timers watching cutscenes in dungeons, and aren't much interested into the lore of FFXIV. My current main named Aeriica KittyKat on Exodus is in a FC that is small and pretty much similar to other one. I would love to find a friendly FC that is totally lore oriented. If they are the right ones I will bring both characters over. Aeriica is a level 50 summoner with all Dark/Light accessories and working towards her first relic. My other is Elysia Firefly level 50 Bard with full Dark/Light and +1 Relic Bow.

If it is not too much trouble, can you elaborate a bit more on the term "lore based"? =)

For example are you looking for players who love to spend time in-game chatting and discussing the Eozrean lore? Role-Playing and immersing yourself in-game so the lore becomes more relevant to your character? etc...

Our good friends from the Twilight FC (also in Faerie) is more immersion focused. I also recall one of their two members is very, very into FFXIV lore.

Thanks for the reply NanaiKatsura. I put up this thread early in the morning before I headed out for work so it was a bit thin on what I meant by lore. However you have described exactly what I was looking for in a lore based FC. I would only add one more part to that. I finally got to experience the joy of running Paetro on Aeriica (her first time) with a random party from the DF. They all were into the lore and let everyone watch all the cutscenes. This made for a much more dynamic experience then just going back to the inn and watching them from there. Normally players are forced to skip them. Anyway it would be great to find such a FC. The ones you mention look enticing, however I have some good friends on this server so i am hesitant to transfer my two mains to Faerie. I will think about it though.

I really enjoy the concepts you got going on there. Big kudos for what seems like a fun FC.

Can't say we are full immersion with my FC but we all really get into the game and love to help others enjoy the game the way they want to. We will all run your CM or Prae dungeons and let you watch all the cutscenes but we might not have any clothes on or maybe just a snowman suit. XD

It's really all about having fun regardless of who you are so I smile when I see others taking the same steps as me and making awesome Free Companies.
