Easy there Chile Relleno.
Not trying to down on the girl. She's probably just not too familiar with the English language. It's pretty common here. I'm just trying to help with clear communication.
Also, the past tense of word "jerk" is "jerked" unless referring to a noun...which was probably your intended usage anyway.
Good eye. Never use only one comma between a subject and its verb. My mistake. I'll go clean it up.Commas--you're doing it wrong.
They kicked you simply to get out of the instance without the timer debuff.

Kicking will sometimes happen by accident, or because the players are jerks, but I'm more worried about people abusing the REPORT system. In 8-man content, if you are kicked, it means 6 or 7 other people agreed to it. Maybe those 6 people are jerks, or maybe they were stupid enough to accidentally kick someone. I personally don't want to be a part of either of those two groups, so I wouldn't get too upset about it. Maybe a que time was wasted, but at least I'm not wasting time playing with people I don't like.
But while an unfair kick is, at most, an inconvenience of an hour or so (less if you tank or heal), an unfair report could mean the closure of someone's account. Square-Enix has proven with controversies in the past, especially with FFXI, that they sometimes take action on players in a knee-jerk reaction. Unlike various Western companies that have a clearly announced system for punishing certain behavior, SE tends to announce their punishment system as it is put into action. Thus, I consider any report I make as having the possible consequence of deleting a person's entire account.
If you're unsure about why you might have been kicked, or feel that the entire group was full of jerks you didn't want to play with anyway, please don't be over eager to report. Although I meet plenty of people in this game that I would rather not play with, I only saving reporting for those who are deliberately cheating, or are harassing other players in the most serious of situations.
I come from a fairy tale utopia called a JP server, where players explain fights to each other and congratulate you on winning loot rolls.

I am pretty sure you could deduce that English was not her first language. She appears to be a competent speaker with some minor grammatical issues. She clearly wasn't some ten-year-old troll with poor Engrish. Since that was all you had to offer, I figured I'd troll you back in her defense. Kinda lame. I know.Easy there Chile Relleno.

Yeah, I caught that after I made my post. Thanks for the easy gold
Chili relleno? Why do I have to be a delicious deep-fried stuffed breaded pepper? Are you calling me fat?
Yeah, I meant noun form. Figured that was obvious.
PS: Still wrong on your edit. Technically, ellipses are in a (space) . . . form such as: "I really want to steal from the bank. . . but I am afraid of going to jail." Even more so, ellipses aren't best used for stuttered language. What you want is an em dash.
"Trust me. I got like--six gold medals."
That last point might really be an on-the-fence pedantic preference. Meh.

Something smells fishy with the original posters story. I have a feeling the story that got posted is different than what really happened. If enough people from the group voted yes then the problem was most likely you.

Yes, the party kick feature definitely has its issues with being abused for dumb reasons... But trust me, the majority of the time it's working as intended. A healer told me I " shouldn't tell other's how to play their job" because a summoner wasn't controlling their garuda-egi and adds were being pushed everywhere. Come on, summoner is about micro managing your pet for full potential. Well since I was tank, he refused to heal me and said "I hope Eos heals you". Merp, he got kicked :3
