In 1.0 bazaar was good as an extended inventory ^^
Everyone put his stuff in it for 999.999.999 gil.
Oh, and we used it for repair requests.
But for selling stuff? Not much

I don't think elitist means what you think it means. And again, server capacities were increased to accommodate the massive number of players at launch. Like all games, those numbers have dropped off. That means there's extra login capacity. The only time I've seen a login queue since then has been when Odin Zantetsuken'd the server.

There are still queues sometimes on Ragnarok even without Odin. Mostly at weekends
