    Can we have gear set storage from FFXI back?

    No the AF/Seasonal Cabinet in the inn is not enough.

    I am talking about the NPC in FF11 who only allows you to store gear that's a complete set (all pieces of head body hands legs feet, maybe also waist if applicable). It's not usable if any piece of the set is missing.

    Retainers' simply cannot satisfy players who enjoy collecting green / pink gears from dungeons. I really really hate being forced to turn them to GC for a negligible amount of seals only due to the lack of storage space.

    Alternatively, I wish in the future of housing, that gear can be converted into furniture objects and dropped onto the floor, hung onto/into a wall/closet as a form of decoration. Obviously, these gear cannot be picked up nor used by other players once they are bound. (Think of Elder Scroll Series houses)

    Even that NPC had a specific ones you can store,not every single armor set.

    If thats the case you would not need to worry about inventory and store everything inside that npc.

    They should bring back the display mannequins, so you can put on random gears on it.

    Yeah, I like to collect gearsets too, and totally agree.

    Unfortunately you said the "FFXI" word, so get ready for angry people to march in and say this idea is bad because it was in FFXI.

    space management is going to become a big problem with anymore jobs being added.

    I personally wouldn't mine a armory chest for DoH/DoL, DoM, DoW. This would cover a lot of issues.

    An up-shot to overlapping gear is that you really only need one set of gear if it can cover multiple jobs (like the current gear that only DRG can use/is designed for being usable for any "heavy armor" DD job that SE wants to release).

    we have the gimped version called the Armoire in the inn SE wont upgrade to take more junk.
