Free weekend email promotion?

I read that SE is having a free weekend this game, this weekend. However I didn't see any email about it. I'm wondering if any one in the community received some correspondence about this. If SE is really trying to promote this game game you'd think they'd send an email or something to everyone that accessed the beta or bought the game. That way they could reach the people who aren't playing it now. I have people my friends list do really play and I would love for them to try out all the new material.

If any developers read this please send something out.

This event is aimed at SE account holders with inactive subscriptions. I doubtwe will see many people on these forums who have received an email about it till the weekend. All active subs will have seen the event advertised on the login client anyway .

But ESO beta weekends have been going constantly. It's not like this is the first weekend they've had it maybe in your case if its your first time playing. ^_^

I think this is the first campaign like this since launch where its specifically called a free login weekend for returning players...eh I could be wrong of course, just can't remember anything outside of free trials for Legacy, beta testers and new players.
