So i've recently decided to jump into PvP and get my butt kicked. I'm playing as BRD and currently have the crafted Wolf tunic, kecks and a crafted ring, rest being DL, 1 Allagan piece and relic.

My question is, would having the full crafted set benefit me more than having a majority of DL gear?

Also, i don't seem to be winning alot of matches (i feel my late arrival on the pvp scene puts me at a disadvantage), but how long on average does it take to get a full Warwolf set?

Is relic (not zenith) better than the 70pvp weapon or not?

i55 PvP crafted gear > DL gear. i90 PvE gear > i55pvp gear

TBH I'd get the i70 PvP bow if i were you, that extra 30 morale helps. You might hit harder with a relic +1 but tbh the accuracy and skillspeed on it are meh.

Only times I'd consider using a PvE weapon would be the primal extreme bow (Elfin), or possibly allagan altho it also has some wasted stats on it too.

Yeah true, especially if you're solo queueing. I would recommend queueing for lvl 30 and 40 brackets of PvP where gear isn't as important. The mark and exp difference between 40 and 50 (wins) aren't too massive.

What materia is best for a BRD in pvp. Skill speed, crit or det?

Is there a minimum accuracy cap for pvp?

Skill Speed is very important in PvP. It provides skill interruption and burst.

I've gone all crit/deter. depending on whether or not the item is stat capped on that stat. TBH skillspeed is meh. You have to have a lot of skill speed just to barely reduce GCD for bard. I tried going 550 skill speed once and I THINK it bought my skills down to 2.39ish? (can't remember). Lost a ton of crit and deter too =/. And from what I've seen, accuracy is worthless in PvP

After a discussion with an FC member, he feels that a loss of 3 weapon damage going from Relic bow to PvP 70 bow isn't worth it. Is this correct?

It is correct. If you have 90 weapons then ignore 70 PvP wep.

I currently only have normal relic (i80) and im stuck on titan extreme so, im in limbo between buying gear or waiting for Elfin bow.
