Will Coil loot ever be improved?

I know many people are in the same boat as me. Running Coil week after week just needing 1 or 2 drops. I've lost count how many weeks I've ran 1-4, but it's getting to the point I just want to stop. All I want out of Coil are those allagan casting pants, and it's literally been MONTHS and they have not dropped.

I realize this is how SE keep us playing, but this is absurd and I don't know of any other game that takes 3 months of work and still zero progress. If there were some tokens or something (don't you dare say Myths, those dont count, I'm talking about dropped loot) that allowed us to actually PROGRESS, it would be a different story. But I've put in 3 months of work running Coil every week and I'm no closer today that I was the first day.

These games should be about progress aka PROGRESSION. I am not progressing. I'm stuck in limbo. And so are many others.

Please change something SE. For the love of God.

Well same here trying to also obtain the Allagan Trousers of Striking for my Monk over and over again but no luck and have to wait again for another week.

But I don't think SE should just spoon-feed us with a rapid progression because if we happen to obtain all BiS items in just a matter of short time, people are just gonna get bored for already hitting the peak and will quit the game. This is the way of business. Can't think of any idea how to improve the loot but best is create more raid dungeons for us to progress will be much more exciting.

Yeah... I was using Myth for gearing paladin since I don't do Coil as one, but I've had terrible luck with drops and only got the circlet and the earring. I only drop monk/dragoon accessory, at the moment dragoon is my best geared, least played job.

Yeah, myth is your actual tokens for progression.
Drops are for luck, myth for hard work.

unfortunately there is more work done for those luck drops rather than myth.

Pretty much geared my Bard solely on Coil drops, 6 pieces and Myth AF is better than a lot of them, meanwhile my main Monk only has two rings and haven't seen gloves or pants in months. Carrot and stick just like the New Years illustration.

Feel ur pain guys , PLD my main , but on my other jobs more allagan than on PLD T.t on PLD only ring and belt (which anyways no good and be replaced by myth one) and everything i got (x2~3 drops on other jobs) just won greed only once saw body drop (failed need , was in pug) , other drops feet , leg , choker (failed again , SE Y HEAR ME :0 ) went to PLD from my static , so i still have big chances for those
