What to do with a Bot Farmer?

We have at least 4 on Durandal that farm snurble tufts and fleece.

With a 50 Weaver, I go farm these mobs myself and use the farming time to spiritbond gear. I see the same bots every time I go farming, no matter what day/time it is. They're always there. I report them every time. I'm waiting for my account to get banned for sending in so many reports on the same players as I'm pretty sure that would happen before the bots get banned (if they ever do). The bots are in a FC, a FC that appears to be full of botters that farm and spiritbond HQ gear 24/7. Their chocobos are cutely named Asdad and Asfsa. Each person in the FC has one battle/magic class to 50 and maybe one other around 15. Some of them have one battle class at 15 and one or two crafts at 50. None of them have job specific gear, all hq crafted gear. I don't think they have jobs either, just the classes.

It's very discouraging to see, and I completely understand you wanting to report them every time you see them. I've just about lost any hope I had that the bots will ever be banned.

I have reported the same bot farming fleece now about two dozen times over the spam of about a month. They have been there 24/7 save maintenance and Square does nothing. They don't care enough to bother. It is unfortunate but the state of things. We just have to decide at some point as a paying customer base if we are willing to continue to give money to a company that couldn't give two flips about the people that pay for their salaries.

The problem with that is that the botters pay their salaries as well ^^

And I'm suddenly gifted with a vision of the game populated with 80% botters, as the market boards continue to crash....

*sigh* anyway, I just refuse to buy anything from the market boards anymore. I craft what I need and my husband gathers what we need. But it's still discouraging to see ><
