It isn't on par with Skyrim till you have a High res, ultra realistic Cloaca mod for chocobos, to fit your realism needs. The horse version was one of the few times that the net actually left me dumbfounded.
P.S. For the love of god, if your at work do not look up the horse mod. If you aren't go for it, but don't say I didn't warn you.

Hmm, is this a what I'd like to see modded or a what most likely will be modded question?

What most likely would be modded into the game would be nudity, but for the first time in an MMORPG, it would be both genders...oh and there would be a huge uproar regarding lalafel nude models and those modding floodgates would be shut oh so fast with SE thinking to themselves, "What the hell were we thinking?!".

As to what I'd like to see modded, I'd like to see the majority of attack abilities consolidated into one or two button combos and a lot of temporary buffs moved into the traits category and just be up all the time (naturally, tweaks would be made to even out the benefit vs penalty aspect of those abilities).

Well, I rather see a Workshop like they have in Steam. Were players design the gear that can drop (NOT Stats!) and then the community votes the best ones. Thou SE will have the final say in the matter

What do you mean by modding. Do you mean just UI stuff, or being able to add bosses and dungeons and stuff? If it's the later, not going to happen, EVER.

If your talking UI, with that comes the bad too.

You would see Bots with in game UI's, where the user interface for using the bot is all in the game. We would see automated crafting where you just select what you want to make and how many and tell it what steps to use and when and go afk. Come back and it's all done and your 10 levels higher.

Hackers would make a teleport hack (xyz) hack and give it an in game UI tied to the map so you just right click the map and click jump to, and bam your there.

I remember reading somewhere that SE said when the addon system comes out, they will have a submission process like an app store for phone apps, you make an addon, you submit it. If they approve it, they put it in the addon store and users can download it, otherwise, they cannot use it.
