Stop "fixing" the MW scrap it

The way I understood the comment posted by the community rep wasn't that we were getting more retainers, but that they were increasing the cap of number of retainers that could go into each ward. Then there were some very unclear remarks about countermeasures to reset retainers due to the very real possibility of reaching the new cap of each ward again.

In any case, why couldn't this have been posted in the current discussion instead of creating a new thread?

there already is no immersion at all since the engine limits the characters you can see at a time pretty much. The more retainers there are the more ridicolous this thing gets...

also i think only reason they gave us 2 retainer is cause it taking to long to start charging money for the game. after that we can all buy as many as we want for space and for extra 10sales spaces. this is a way better way to do it then old ffxi where we just mailed *** to our mules. it saves lots and lots of time messign with mail system.

Dude the only differences is walking to the "seller" and knowing the price. The MW of ffxiv and AH from ffxi are the same set up. As in the menue system just better organized. And even still AH do not work nor are all that quick. I spent 2-3 hours getting armor food ninja scrolls ninja tool from the AH. I spent 5 min the the MH getting armor for my character.

So really stop complaining guys for no AH. Nothing was instant in Any AH. you still had menue loads, bidding /buying loads or checking mail boxes and reading leters to get your item.

There is nothing wrong with the wards and are pretty easy to use srop complaining about walking to a retainer that is a beyond stupid complaint. The idea in mmorpg is infact to role play and part of that is walking around and visiting shops.

Took me like an hour today to sell some gear, because I'd have to go search it, run back to my retainer, put it up for x price, run back to door, search for next item, run back to retainer, blahaha i guess i could have wrote it down but where is the fun in that!!!

I hate MW, its such an immersion killer for me lol.

I don't know where you found the patience to do that but I envy you. I usually just pay whatever the price is to get out of that hell-hole as soon as possible. God knows I'm loaded for repeating that one single quest this whole game has.

Just a small question. Even though the AH makes a lot of sense, but has everyone forgotten what a mess that became with all the bots? They flooded the AH and made everything SO expensive! It was impossible for me to play! I never want that to happen to FFXIV.

Not defending bots, but I keep hearing bots cause massive inflation over and over and it is simply the opposite being true.

Bot did not make everything so expensive, the RMT mass manipulating the market and HNMLS creating monopolies did.

The botters who spammed the market with goods actually did the opposite.

Supply and Demand... if you crank up the supply really high Prices fall due to demand remaining relatively constant.

The botters might causing minor inflation on raw materials because they are consuming so many, but everything else is becoming dirt cheap compaired to the gil coming in with leves. (every 5 days of leves i can almost buy a whole new set of armor for my 50 glad... that is how cheap things are)
