Ps3 freezing

Twice now the system has completely froze upon playing ffxiv. This is annoying but bearable. Its annoying that I was in a hard mode with boss down to 5% and me (the tank) freezes. This is minor compared to the major malfunction it caused in the ps3 earlier. Upon exiting the game the ps3 gave a black screen. I rest the ps3. The ps3 would only give a 480i display. I tested the tv, and that was not the problem. I did a hard reset of the system and the problem has cleared up. This has never happened to my ps3 before, and after reading a few forums I see that I am not alone. Send a like if you have encountered this problem.
