Oh god no, i don't want addons that do crap for you like that, I like doing my combos by my self, im just more interested in ones like dps meter and improved maps for gathering related purposes and the like and a sort of data base for loot drops and boss's in dungeons. They never said anything about Addons being a part of 2.1. However, they have said that they will eventually open it up for players to be able to make Addons, but at the bare minimum of 6 months down the road. That still doesn't mean it will be in 2.2 though. I personally believe that the game is fine right now without addons to make life too simple for the time being. I'd really hate to see addons for Monks to be able to press 1 button to do all of their combos perfectly, even through a miss. Or a Healbot (though in WoW, I'll admit to using the hell out of Healbot, but it made me feel like a very unskilled healer in the end).
They never said add on support was not going to happen because of ps3 /ps4. They said it would be coming. Like ppl been saying 6+ months out. I personally would like to see them sooner rather than later but still look forward to them coming. If this is an issue for ps3/ps4 players Yoshida never made mention that would stop them from opening up the addon support. He also never said they would make them to work with ps3/ps4. I do think it's kinda new to them and they want to take it slow till they feel comfortable about it. Very much like they did with pvp. Expect pc add on but that's really all I would expect for now. I do not see ps3/ps4 addon support coming anytime soon. If ever.
They said 6 months after the game was out. There is info about the LUA license in the game right now so its coming sometime.
