Forced Loot in Crystal Tower - response from SE

I just wanted to share my response I received from SE regarding auto looted gear at the end of CT when your party leaves and you have not yet hit pass. If this is old/repeated news, sorry.

Hello and thank you for contacting us today.

We are sorry to hear you may have received items you did not wish while adventuring in Crystal Tower. We understand that this prevents you from obtaining any further treasure from the event, and we apologize for any frustration you may be experiencing. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist in removing the item and lockout timer from your character, and for this we apologize. In order to ensure that you are not assigned treasure that you do not want in the future, we encourage you to select Pass on any items you do not wish to roll on at this time.

If you did select Pass and still received the treasure, we ask for you to submit a bug report through our official FINAL FANTASY XIV forums at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forum.php so our teams can look further into this concern.

We are aware that this topic has been addressed by our Community Team on the official FINAL FANTASY XIV Forums and our Development Team is looking to improve the loot distribution in an upcoming update. Regretfully, even with this announcement, we are unable to further assist by removing the unwanted item or removing the timer which we offer our apologies.

I'm glad they are finally looking into this. People have been screed into getting unwanted gear for doing something as simple as watching a cut scene when everyone leaves. The only question is when the next update will be.

yea they send you this for just about everything

and it has screwed me also. went to grab a drink after the final fight and got jipped with DRG gear. hopefully they fix this.

Well the last patch update fixed it, so they obviously listened to player complaints!

Go ahead and level as a dragoon. You can probably hit 50 before it's fixed.
