Looking to learn Titan EX but sick of crappy groups where people scream at each other and leave after a few wipes?

Intimidated by Party Finder groups that threaten to kick anyone who makes a single mistake?

Look no further!

I will be starting Quality Titan EX learning groups, welcoming anyone ranging from complete first-timers to those who have learned and practiced the fight but haven't gotten their kills yet.

I have many Titan EX kills under my belt and know the fight very well. I'm willing to share my experience with anyone willing to learn the encounter.

If you are confident in your skill and just need a capable group to learn the fight with, this is a great opportunity. Also, if you're experienced in the fight but wish to help, you're more than welcome. However, we'll be making sure that there are at least four people in the group who have not killed Titan before, so they will have priority.

Our objective will be to kill Titan EX by the time that we're done.

Requirements:

Decent gear. Minimum Average Item Level: i80 or higher. This is a learning group, so we need everyone to be appropriately geared and able to pull more than their own weight.

Decent skill level & internet connection. Killing Titan relies on being able to quickly react and dodge the many hazards he throws at you. People will get hit by many things as we're learning, which is understandable, but if you know you're all thumbs or have a really bad connection, you're gonna have a really hard time and this might not be for you.

Some degree of understanding of the fight. There are countless resources and videos all over the internet. Check them out!

Mumble. We'll be using my Mumble server for voice communication. Being able to communicate without typing is a huge advantage, and frankly, teaching by typing sucks. You don't need to have a microphone. Being able to listen is fine. Download it and be prepared to use it if you wish to participate.

Time. This might take a while. Budget an hour or two for learning. If people are leaving and we're constantly bringing in new people, things will have to be relearned over and over again.

Patience and understanding. The expectation is for us to kill EX Titan in a timely manner but it will still be a learning process. Some people have less experience than others. Some players will take a little longer to learn than others. Also, if we feel that you can't progress any further (issues with connectivity or very high mortality rate), please understand if you're asked to leave.

Start time: Thursday Jan 09. Midnight NA Pacific (3:00am Eastern) on Weekdays.

If this doesn't match your time, there will be more in the future at different times on the weekend, if the turnout and interest is high.

as usual... i have trouble on ifriit. .XD before anyone say something... i have trouble with ifrit even on hard mode.. .XD and i find titan extreme easier than ifrit extreme... so yeah... i have no idea why...

Is this still going on cause every titan x pt I get into eventually splits after just a couple tries so I have yet to complete it. I have an ilvl85 brd on my main char and a bunch of ilvl70+'s

fortunately i can help on garuda and titan ex now ... not teach.. quite far from that.. becuase i still dont know rotations XD i just react *i can never learn rotations..it just doesnt stick in my mind XD* .... not the best for a scholar... but... anyway XD

maybe with enough experience or having a chart with the rotations i can do better XD *most likely the later*

We did a few of these over the weekend and they were all successful. One group continued on to beat Ifrit immediately after too.

These groups had the same things in common: Nobody in the group expected immediate success. Everyone was focused on getting the entire party through rather than chewing out or getting rid of people whom they perceived as less skilled than them. Despite the wipes, nobody wanted to leave until we were finished.
