Sorcerer's Crakows vs Allagan Boots of Casting

Why do they have the exact same stats?
Is there any information on an upcoming change to this?

They were changed and reverted back. So most likely they are staying the same which is a good thing for us BLM & SMN.

For us BLM: It saves Myth, and from having to use Sorcerer's Crakows cause...you know...fugly.

For SMN: The Allagan is BiS.

I guess you can say they should change BLM myth but meh.

If I didn't have Myth I'd take Allagan over 3 SMN. Saves me a week of tomes that I can spend on something else, plus Myth are ugly. Too many SMN stealing my Belts and Pants. It's a pain being the only DPS that have to share armor. If only Arcanist wasn't added... /selfish

As for them both having the same stats, it doesn't really make much sense to me to have 2 items with the exact same stats. They probably can't change it now considering how many people freaked out when they "accidentally" changed it.

oh Kevee, I would have pressed that need button faster than sounds travel. Have you seen the Myth boots, god...looks like they are made of newspapers.

Joking aside, yeah I pass for a pass on something else, that is how it always worked , the boots being the same exact one as the Myth would have zero impact on my decision to pass for a pass.

Psh! I hope that somewhere right now a summoner is taking the head, chest, gloves, neck, wrist and ring away from poor innocent black mages.

This ain't a fashion contest, the two items have the exact same stats and I find that absurd. One of them should be changed, and since the Allagan ones are perfect as they are for SMN then it only makes sense that the Myth get changed since they are BLM specific.

Also full myth set looks amazing I don't know what you're on.

EDIT:
It's really boring that I only one choice for level 90 gear for my shoes. And it's annoying that every other piece of the Sorcerer's set give a lot of spell speed and for some reason the boots give high crit.
