I have only ever seen the tank it in the center method, and incidentally, just as you all claim, "Ran it in the north, never wiped. Pro tanking method, GOML!" I have yet to wipe within the center... And to anyone saying the cone is an issue, if this game has taught us ANYTHING, it is that you do NOT stand in front of 99% of the enemies tanks are tanking due to cleaves. Every group I run with stays to the side/rear of the dragon after the adds are dead, and it is burnt through easily... To each their own however.
