When I first see your post I think you were trolling, since I assume all people tank the bone lizard the way you are drawing, but after read the answers I was:
in other server you tank the monster moving it to other sides? really??At least for me That just make the fight harder, because make easy to the skeleton to run toward the boss, just amazing how people cant assign 1,2,3 platforms to A.B.C Partys … what is next? healers don’t toss heavy to skeletons because they never think on that?.

I have 10 runs in the dungeon and the only time I have see a wipe is when a party keep pulling the bone dragon in some uncommon direction, until my party force him to move back to the middle.
The entire alliance was; wtf are you doing!? Since they never reply at Japanese I am sure now there were from other server, no wonder why I see complains about people no be able to beat that dungeon.
Now I have curiosity, how other forms you have to tank the rest of the monsters?

Si hablas español este post es importante para ti: http://bit.ly/1vZI4Gc
I haven't either...except that I always thought to myself that this would be most effective...because it seems people tank the boss on one of the paths. Doesn't a skeleton spawn right where I always see it tanked? Isn't that what we DON'T want?
The biggest issues for me when i run CT Bone Dragon are
Tanks: fight over adds, dont know to kill on sep platforms
DD: kill bone dragon before skellies are down, kill skellies before positioned.
The link listed by the OP is the way it should be done, obviously how it was intended to be done
But taking dragon against a wall is not bad either, as long as tanks and DD know how to arrange
skellies. But lately the groups i have gone in are worse and worse
The most interesting strategy I've seen was to keep the dragon in the middle and pile all the skeletons on the same platform far from the center. First time was a wipe but second one, when they all rose, DPS wailed them down so fast it was cool (skele's didn't get halfway to the dragon).
Other than that, every run I've done (only about 8) has been the dragon in the center strategy.

On my server everyone and their mother pulls the dragon to the north end platform for no reason. It's mind-boggling.

Dragon in center for every CT I've done.
World: Midgardsormr
Group: Aether
Only maybe three times out of dozens of runs per week have I seen the dragon tanked in the center.
I wonder why there's such a difference between what some people are seeing here.
For the sake of success though, it doesn't matter where the dragon goes as long as OTs and DPS don't screw things up. More often than not, it's the DPS that I see messing things up. They either destroy skels where they stand without waiting for OTs to finish positioning them, or they kill the dragon before the last set of skels are dead.
The short of it is that if a skeleton reaches the dragon when it's dead, then the alliance is hit by an AoE.Every run I've done it's always been the dragon in the middle, was not even aware people moved the dragon. But also every run I've done, no one has explained anything yet so I don't know what the skeletons actually do (I just kill them as quickly as I can), or what those towers for King Behemoth do (I just stop the bombs cause they're BOMBS!).
If a skeleton died before the dragon died, then it'll be slow once it revives, giving you ample time to kill it again.
But if two skeletons are ever near each other while they're trying to reach the dead dragon, then they'll get a purple tether between them and run super fast, pretty much guaranteeing the alliance will be hit by two AoEs.
For Behemoth, I was told that if tanks aren't there to click on the towers when they need to, then the alliance gets hit by lightning AoEs. And then if any bombs manage to self-destruct and destroy a tower, then the lightning AoEs are even bigger.
I want to see that. But I can't imagine the average alliance listening long enough to coordinate something like that. The most interesting strategy I've seen was to keep the dragon in the middle and pile all the skeletons on the same platform far from the center. First time was a wipe but second one, when they all rose, DPS wailed them down so fast it was cool (skele's didn't get halfway to the dragon).
Never fought the dragon in the middle. Ever.
Dragon gets taken to the far north. Healers usually stand on the middle circle platform. Bones dragged away from each other opposite the dragon.
The main tank and where they tank the bone dragon is never the problem. It's not hard to adjust to having it in the center or pulled to the edge. What causes wipes are off tanks who can't position skeletons or fight with each other over aggro, and DD who start burning the skeletons too soon and killing them in really unhelpful places.
Instead of wasting time yelling at the tank for not doing it "your way," please pay attention to doing your job and making sure skeletons are handled correctly.
